چکیده
Herein, we report the excellent De-NO x performance of La 0.7 Sr 0.3 MnO 3 (LSM) perovskite-supported Pd catalysts (Pd-LSM) in alternating lean-burn/fuel-rich atmospheres using C H 6 as reductant and describe situ activation via metal-support interaction (MSI) tuning. The NO reduction conversion Pd-LSM catalyst increased significantly from 56.1% to 90.1% production N 2 O was suppressed. Our results demonstrated that this behavior mainly attributed transformation 2+ into 0 during reaction. generated species could readily activate achieve an eight-fold higher turnover frequency than for . Moreover, excessive MSIs inhibited generation , thereby, lowered activity even at high dispersion. In addition, exhibited much S tolerance conventional Al -supported catalysts. study provides a new approach analyzing designing highly active metal operated under dynamic oxidizing/reducing atmospheric conditions. A activated generate conditions tuning interactions. eight fold species.

Proton reduction by molecular catalysts in water under demanding atmospheres.
The electrocatalytic proton reduction activity of a Ni bis(diphosphine) (NiP) and a cobaloxime (CoP) catalyst has been studied in water in the presence of the gaseous inhibitors O2 and CO. CoP shows an appreciable tolerance towards O2, but its activity suffers severely in the presence of CO. In contrast, NiP is strongly inhibited by O2, but produces H2 under high CO concentrations.

Bis(2-R-ind)ZrCl2 (R: H or phenyl) was supported on different types of silica by in situ impregnation method and used for ethylene polymerization. In this method, the step of catalyst loading on support was eliminated and common alkyl aluminum (triisobutylaluminum, TiBA) cocatalyst was used instead of expensive methyl aluminiumoxane (MAO) cocatalyst in the polymerization. The effect of surface ...

Heterogeneous Pd catalysts supported on silica matrices
Palladium catalysts deposited over different types of silica (amorphous silica, mesoporousmolecular sieves, solids obtained by co-condensation of silicate precursors and many others) modified with suitable donor moieties have gained enormous importance due to their wide application as catalysts for cross-coupling and other synthetically useful organic reactions. This work provides an overview o...

Studying catalysts in situ is of high interest for understanding their surface structure and electronic states in operation. Herein, we present a study of epitaxial manganite perovskite thin films (Pr1−xCaxMnO3) active for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) from electro-catalytic water splitting. X-ray absorption near-edge spectroscopy (XANES) at the Mn Land O K-edges, as well as X-ray photoem...
